Craftsmanship for Analysts

Software craftsmanship has been a popular topic since before the 90s. Books have been written about it, conferences convened around it - there is even a Manifesto for Software Craftsmanship!  But everything I’ve seen about craftsmanship seems to have to do with code, created by developers.

What about analysts? How does the concept of craftsmanship apply to the work of analysts? How is craftsmanship manifested in our work? How do we recognize craftsmanship?  Do agile practices compromise our craftsmanship?

Join Terry as she shares her thoughts on this topic, developed over decades of experience in commercial and back-office software, across quality assurance, analysis and testing roles on teams using agile and plan-driven approaches.
