Is it difficult for your team to clarify what is in scope and out of scope for your current effort? A context diagram can help you. Join the Pittsburgh IIBA chapter meeting to learn how to build one. Come prepared with your current problem and we'll build a diagram in the session.
Presentation Objectives: To introduce the concept of the Context Level Data Flow Diagram and explain how we move from Scoping a project to Defining Requirements Bio: Pam owns Same Page IT Consulting, a business analysis and project management consulting business and is a subcontractor at B2T Training, a business analysis training company located in Alpharetta, Georgia. She is a Certified Business Analysis Professional and has practiced project management, data modeling and process re-engineering for more than 25 years. She was an employee at Mellon Bank for 16 years, a manager at Deloitte Consulting, an employee of EDS and a consultant at BNY Mellon, PNC, Innovative Benefits Consulting, Inc., Peregrine Advisors and Federated Investors where she re-engineered the Project Management Office. Currently, she is a full-time employee of PNC working in the IT area of Corporate and Institutional Banking. And she fits in once a quarter conducting webinars for B2T Training. She holds a degree in business education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and studied Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh. She sits on the Board of Directors for Hearth, an organization that provides a safe haven for abused women and children. |
