Matt McConnell, Pittsburgh IIBA Chapter President, will lead a practical discussion of what skills BAs will need to thrive in an uncertain world. Our goal for this talk is to give you both a strategy and the resources you need to become a T-Shaped BA.

Topics to include:

  • Top technical skills you need and how to acquire them
  • Top information management skills you need and how to acquire them
  • How to become the kind of BA that gets promoted

Attendees will receive information on how to cost-effectively develop any skills they're missing.

Bio
Mathew McConnell, CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO got his start practicing business analysis at Jo-Ann Fabrics in Hudson, OH. Matt earned his CBAP in 2015 and has taught over 100 hours of business analysis classes to other BAs looking to earn their certifications. He is active in several professional organizations in Pittsburgh and has been President of the Pittsburgh IIBA since 2017 Most recently, Matt earned a MS in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University and works for Robbins-Gioia as a Requirements Architect and Agile Delivery Lead.
