Instructor: Mathew McConnell, CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO
Mathew McConnell is a Consultant for Fusion Technology, LLC and the President of the Pittsuburgh IIBA chapter.
Matt started in Business Analysis at Jo-Ann Fabrics in 2005. Since then, he’s helped several other retailers, financial giants, and the U.S. Department of Defense improve the outcomes of their projects using a blend of business analysis, project management, and agile. Matt started off with a bachelor's in foreign language but found along the way that coaching business and IT to become cross-fluent with each other was far more fulfilling. Since that realization, he's earned an MS in Technical Management from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins and maintains several certifications in business analysis, project management, and agile.
Instructor: Justin Trotter, CBAP, A-CSPO
Justin Trotter CBAP, CSPO has been a business analyst and product owner for over 10 years working to perform gap analysis, implement process improvement, and build minimally viable products for multiple industries. He is the VP of Professional Development for the Pittsburgh IIBA Chapter.
He has worked in environments including Tax and Auditing for CCH, Governance Risk and Compliance for CT Corporation, Encryption for the Air Force, Financial Services for US Bank, and Criminal Justice systems for DOJ contracts. He is currently a Product Owner and Site Lead at the CJIS FBI center in Clarksburg, WV working on the National Crime Information Center 3rd Generation solution for law enforcement.
