Solving the Business Analysis Puzzle

There is a process of analysis that when followed puts all the pieces together to create a solution that fits. This process of analysis is like a jigsaw puzzle. The start of a jigsaw puzzle is a jumble of unrelated pieces, sound familiar? The task seems impossible when you start with all the pieces spread out. It requires a process to solve the puzzle and fit the pieces together. This is exactly the same for a business analyst that starts any initiative. The pieces are strewn about in documents, people, processes, data and it seems impossible to fit them together.
