Jean Marie is the VP of Business Innovation & Operations at RistCall, a healthcare IT startup focused on improving patient safety and experience by simplifying  nurse-patient communication using smartwatches.  

At RistCall, Jean Marie is responsible for scaling the company by guiding the shift from a focus on physical products to a human-centric service delivery system.  She leads user research to understand stakeholder needs, develops internal and external systems and processes, and guides product changes and strategy through the lens of service design.

A dual Masters degree holder from Carnegie Mellon University in Design and Business, Jean Marie is passionate about translating business strategy into action and organizational transformation within service ecosystems.  She brings over 10 years of professional experience improving service delivery process and practices across the value chain in technology and regulated environments.  Jean Marie is the founder of Service Design Pittsburgh, an organization focused on increasing the awareness and practice of Service Design in our region.
